Bass Pro Shops, a longtime B.A.S.S. partner, will increase its support of the Bassmaster Tournament Trail in 2022. Following a new multiyear contract, Bass Pro Shops has stepped up to become a premier sponsor for the B.A.S.S. Tournament Trail, which includes the iconic Bassmaster Classic and the Bassmaster Elite Series. It has also taken over title sponsorship of the Bassmaster Team Championship and will keep its position as the presenting sponsor of the Bassmaster College Series.

They value their continuous collaboration as they step up their support of the Bassmaster Tournament Trails. They provide important sponsorship and assistance to grassroots and team trail fishermen from across the nation, as well as college anglers.

According to Johnny Morris, renowned environmentalist and creator of Bass Pro Shops, “as a teenage fisherman, fishing in the first national B.A.S.S. competition on Table Rock Lake acted as my motivation for launching Bass Pro Shops.” Now, as they commemorate Bass Pro Shops’ 50th anniversary this year, their expanding cooperation completes the circle. They are eager to collaborate with their B.A.S.S. buddies to advance fishing as a sport, foster a love of the outdoors, and support environmental preservation.

What will happen under the agreement?

  • Following the agreements, Triton and Nitro will continue to serve as the premier and official boat sponsors of B.A.S.S. competitions, such as the Bassmaster Classic presented by DICK’S Sporting Goods, the Bassmaster Elite Series, the Bassmaster Opens Series, the B.A.S.S. Nation events, and the College and High School Series competitions.
  • The Bassmaster Elite Series, Basspro.com Bassmaster Opens Series, Carhartt Bassmaster College Series proffered by Bass Pro Shops, and Mossy Oak Fishing Bassmaster High School Series all add Bass Pro Shops as supporting sponsors. Bass Pro Shops also becomes the title sponsor of the Bassmaster Elite Series.
  • During 2019, 2020, and 2021 seasons, all White River Marine and Bass Pro Shops brands will be granted exhibit space in the wildly famous Bassmaster Classic Outdoors Expo presented by DICK’S Sporting Goods, as well as Elite Series expos and other Bassmaster events.
  • The majority of final-day weigh-ins for Basspro.com Bassmaster Opens competitions will take place at the neighborhood Bass Pro Shops or Cabela’s.
  • The Mossy Oak Fishing Bassmaster High School Championship winners will also receive two $500 scholarships from Triton.
  • Following the agreement, Bass Pro Shops and White River Marine brands will be promoted and advertised in B.A.S.S.’s major industry publications, such as Bassmaster and B.A.S.S. Times, Bassmaster.com, Bassmaster LIVE programming, and The Bassmasters TV show on ESPN2.

The Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Team Championship provides a route to the Bassmaster Classic for one amateur participant. Bass Pro Shops is well known for its generous support of grassroots fishermen. At the Bass Pro Shops National Headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, from March 30 to April 3, 2022, B.A.S.S. will take part in the World’s Fishing Fair.
