Radhika Apte is Omnipresent (present everywhere). So how and when did this start? This started when Radhika was featured in three Netflix Original series back to back. The first one was Lust Stories, then Sacred Games and the recent one Ghoul. When Netflix announced about Ghoul on their twitter account on July 9th, 2018 – netizens started trolling about Radhika’s relationship with Netflix.
Take a look at some of the tweets: While some people trolled Radhika, her fans responded to the trollers supporting her.
And if that wasn’t enough, Netflix and Radhika responded to the trolls in the most brilliant way. Netflix released a video titled ‘Omnipresent’. They tweeted about the spoof with the tagline – ‘Whatever the role, Radhika apt hai.’ and the tweet got viral. Before releasing the actual spoof video, Netflix had also shared the ‘behind-the-scenes’ of the spoof video where Radhika Apte spoke about the challenging roles she played in the video that also featured the director ‘Vikramaditya Motwane’. In the feature, Vik she tells that Vik called her and asked what if she played every character in the film(the spoof) and that got her attention, because it was a challenge she couldn’t turn down. To take it a step further, they called it ‘Radflix’.
In another following tweet, Netflix posted “Pad Man is now streaming and we’re not just saying this because Radhika Apte is in it, but yes Radhika Apte is in it.”
And they didn’t stop here. On Instagram, they changed their Instagram tagline to – ‘Just another @radhikaofficial fan account’.
While Netflix was enjoying the publicity, Zomato tried to get a little share of it. They tweeted a picture listing out dishes where Paneer is the key ingredient showing that it’s not just Radhika that is versatile.
But did it stop there? Netflix responded to Zomato that Radhika is everywhere!
It’s not just the netizens that are enjoying the memes, according to Bombay times Radhika is enjoying them too.
