Fallout 76, the latest addition to the Fallout universe is barely a few weeks away. And fans of the series are excited to see what’s in store for them with the release of the new game.
Fallout 76 release date: The game released on November 14, 2018. This is similar to it’s previous release pattern of mid-year announcement and October/November release. It was announced at Bethesda’s E3 2018 showcase.
Fallout 76 will be a prequel to the entire series. It takes place merely 25 years after the Great War. Just like the 3rd and 4th game in the series, even Fallout 76 intentions are to rebuild the East Coast. The major differences are that this game will be entirely online and will be a multiplayer game.
Fallout 76 is named after the vault 76 which has been mentioned in the previous Fallout games. It was one of the 17 control vaults with standardised living conditions and it’s community were safe underground while the war destroyed a lot of American landscape and population. The game will be set in West Virginia, will be the largest game in the series (4 times larger than the world of Fallout 4). Players will have six different regions to explore with each region having its own set of rewards and risks.
Number of Players: The game will have 24 to 32 players per server.
Where can you play the game? The game will launch on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The game will not be launched on Steam.
Will the game have a BETA version? Yes, The game will also have a Beta version which will release in October. To get access, one must just pre-order the game. Xbox One players will get access to the game first. The Beta version will be the full game and player’s progress will be carried over to the purchased version. This will at least give the Fallout fans a taste of what lies ahead.
